GREENSBORO, N.C. — Averett dropped a non-conference game to Guilford College 2-0 on Wednesday night.
Guilford (7-8) got a first-half goal from Ashley Anderson less than five minutes before the half to put the Quakers ahead 1-0. Guilford added an insurance goal by Bri Eilman midway through the second half.
Averett (5-8) was outshot 21-9 in the contest.
