BURLINGTON, N.C. — Averett senior Sandra Dennison was selected to the 2009 USA South Conference All-Tournament Team, the conference announced on Sunday following the championship game.

Dennison was 3-1 with a 0.90 earned run average in 31 innings of work. She finished with 32 strikeouts as Averett (20-17) went 3-2 in the USA South Tournament. The Cougars fell to N.C. Wesleyan on Saturday in their third game of the day.
