Averett (8-5, 5-3 USA South) travels to play Ferrum College (10-4, 6-3 USA South) on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. This is the second meeting between the two schools this season. Averett defeated the Panthers 63-62 in Danville on Jan. 6.
The Cougars are coming off a win against Shenadoah University on Sunday and have won five of their last seven contests. Ferrum lost to nationally-ranked Christopher Newport University in its last game.
