Averett (6-15, 4-6 USA South) hosts Greensboro College (12-12-1, 4-4 USA South) in USA South Conference action at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Cougar Field.
Averett split a doubleheader with N.C .Wesleyan College on Sunday. Greensboro has won three in a row after taking two games from Christopher Newport over the weekend.
