Averett (11-4, 2-1 USA South) will take on USA South Conference foe Methodist University (10-4, 2-1 USA South) at Owen-Fulton Field on Sunday at 1 p.m. in the final game of their regular-season series.
Methodist used a strong start and held off Averett late for a 8-5 victory on Saturday.
