Averett (6-21, 4-12 USA South) travels to take on Meredith College (19-15, 8-8 USA South) in USA South Conference action at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Averett lost two at Christopher Newport University on Friday. Meredith has won 10 in a row entering today's contest.
