DANVILLE, Va. — Averett University defeated Roanoke College 6-3 in non-conference men's tennis action on Monday. The win was their third in three days and fourth in their last five matches.

Averett freshman David Lembke and junior Bruno Faidutti won their No. 1 doubles match in a tiebreaker, while freshman Kirill Orlov and junior Xavier Ruiz won at No. 2 doubles easily.

Lembke, Ruiz, Faidutti and freshman John Thrower all won singles matches to seal the win for the Cougars (7-6).
